We've listed some of articles and media appearences talking about Transylvania in general, but also about our own tours.
Dacre Stoker, our exceptional tour leader, and Bram Stoker's descendant, was interviewed during one of our trips in Transylvania. He told us about exciting gems from a trip to Transylvania and revealed how his ancestor was inspired by the region's beautiful landscape when he wrote the novel Dracula. The news is in Romanian, but the video material itself is very telling so there is hardly any need for translation. Watch the video here!
Our lovely guest Ursula Edfast wrote a nice travelogue about a trip with several SPF Håbo members to Transylvania, in 2024. The story is nice, honest and full of interesting descriptions of our program. On this trip we had several regular customers and Transylvania enthusiasts, but also new friends who were enchanted by the charming character of the region. Produced by an Irish TV team, but adapted for a Swedish audience, the documentary film Dracula's Land was broadcast for the first time on SVT during All Saints' Day 2024, while we were on a tour of Transylvania. This film is a general tribute to the region and not a news feature about our travel agency, but we are happy to recommend it as inspiration for a trip to Romania. You can watch the documentary here.
During a trip to Scotland with a senior group, our CEO Gloria Andersson was interviewed by British Daily Record. Through our successful collaboration with the Scottish destination marketing company Visit Scotland and through our friend, geologist and local guide Mike Shepherd, we have discovered the hidden gem of Cruden Bay in Aberdeenshire, and are perhaps the only Swedish travel company that organizes trips there.
